Raven at Ghost Rock

This is a raven that came to see me as I stopped - in awe - at Ghost Rock, in western Utah, on my drive from Denver to Las Vegas. The drive was a jaw-dropper, punctuated by Ghost Rock Canyon, which has the outcropping you see to the right at its center. As soon as the raven landed, I climbed out and sat where it is sitting. Though I was shivering and afraid (it was a LONG way to the bottom of the canyon), I prayed there at that spot and felt a very palpable surge of connection pulse through me. I will visit there again, when I head back to Denver for a reading at Borders, sometime in April.

This is a full view of the canyon. The outcropping is to the right of the picture, in the foreground.
