The beginning...

This is me at Gateway Park, St. Louis, Missouri. It was a very windy and grey, day, but it gave me an incredible feeling of power to be able to walk up and touch the Gateway Arch, one of the most incredible monuments ever erected. A perfect way for me to start my westward journey!
